BAMC Electrical/Telemedicine Upgrades

Kīnā'ole and the Virtual Medical Center hub site at Brook Army Medical Center (BAMC), San Antonio, TX, expanded its Tele-Critical Care (TCC) capability, thus expanding military readiness and patient care support in response to the CoVID-19 Pandemic. The TCC expansion includes upgrading Video Tele Conference (VTC) equipment to 66 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) locations throughout BAMC.

Client: NAVFAC Marianas / POP: 7/1/2022 - 6/30/2024
Scope: This task Order is part of an IDIQ for Professional Services for Environmental Remediation. Contract requirements include CERCLA, SARA, DERP Manual, etc. necessary for the USAEC to complete FYRs/PR for the Army Environmental Cleanup Program and to support USACE in meeting the Army's statutory and programmatic requirements. Additional Task Order requirements include: historical documenUdata review, public notices, site inspections, interviews, ARAR/RAO analysis, risk assessment, technical subject analysis, Five-Year/Periodic Review reports; in addition to LUC assessment and LUCIPs.

DESIGN-BUILD OF P-052 NATIONAL GUARD READINESS CENTER Barrigada, Guam

Client: NAVFAC Marianas / POP: 9/30/2022 - 2/26/2025
Scope: This design-build project includes the design and construction of a 36,139 SF National Guard Readiness Center for the 1224th Engineer Support Company (ESC) and the 1-244 Aviation Regiment (AVN), which will support training, administrative, and logistical requirements of the Guam Army National Guard (GUARNG). The supporting development includes utilities, a backup emergency generator, paved parking, and other necessary site improvements. Function areas include: ESC Administrative, Arms Vaults and Cages, Classrooms, and Unit Locks. Additional options include MEC Munition Response, a photovoltaic system, training bay, unheated storage building, wash platform, FF&E, A/V equipment, and MEC/UXO/MPPEH. This project is anticipated to be completed in February 2025.

ELECTRICAL MODERNIZATION Painted Rock and Alamo Dams, AZ

Client: USACE Los Angeles / POP: 9/29/2021 - Present
Scope: This project requires the demolition of the existing 480-volt delta/120/207-volt electrical distribution system and installing a new 480-volt wye/120/207-volt power distribution system in both the control tower and generator building at Alamo Dam and Painted Rock Dam. This includes removing the existing power distribution panelboards, transformers, disconnect switches, motor starters, light fixtures, and 120-volt receptacles. Installation for the generator building consists of a new 400A incoming utility feed, power distribution configuration, service entrance rated panelboard/disconnect switch, emergency generator receptacle, and 120-volt receptacles. A new grounding/lightning protection system will be installed at both locations.

DESIGN/BUILD OF VARIOUS POL REPAIRS & API 653 INSPECTIONS Luke AFB, AZ

Client: 772 ESS PK, Joint Base San Antonio / POP: 6/7/2022 - 12/26/2023
Scope: This contract requires the design and construction of various Petrolium, Oils, and Lubricants (POL) and American Petroleum Institute (API) 653 inspections and repairs to return the facilities to service as a complete and fully functional facility. Priority I work includes in-service tank inspections and reporting, and deficiency corrections such as replacement of lubricated swivels and hoses, replacement of filter separators and combo FSCV and TFV, repair of oil water separators, replacement of dike post indicator valves, and associated reporting for multiple facilities.

JTF-N HANGAR CONCRETE PAD & ELECTRICAL WORK Ft. Huachuca, AZ

Client: USACE Los Angeles / POP: 9/30/2021 - Present
Scope: This project requires the construction of a new approximately 60' x 120' concrete pad for the installation of an existing fabric hangar, new 60' x 20' concrete approach apron, and additional concrete pads for HVAC equipment and office space. Project also includes excavation of a 350' trench 5' deep to the new SSVEC transformer and constructing a new concrete transformer pad. Additional electrical work includes, but is not limited to installing new electrical service to the fabric hangar, providing an electrical grounding ring, associated conduit and cabling, and all associated site and utility work.

As Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO), SBA-certified 8(a) small businesses, the Kīnā'ole Family of Companies offers the ability to provide rapid, cost-effective contracting solutions through direct awards. NHO 8(a) Sole Source Award guidance in 13CFR124.506(b)(2) and 13CFR124.517(a) allows Kīnā'ole companies the unique ability to receive direct awards up to $100M that cannot be protested because of our NHO 8(a) status. Using this method provides our customers the ability to procure services rapidly, at fair negotiated prices, and with fewer uncertainties compared to the competitive bidding process across all requirements while also supporting the broader goal of promoting economic development and social impact in the communities it serves.
